Michael Almereyda

Writer and Driector

Michael Almereyda’s feature films include Twister (1989), Another Girl Another Planet (1992), Nadja (1995), Hamlet (2000), William Eggleston in the Real World (2005), Paradise (2009) and Cymbeline (2014) which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. His most recent short film, Skinningrove, was given the Jury Award for Short Non-Fiction at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. His films have been nominated for five IFP Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature (Twister) and Best Director (for Nadja), as well as two nominations for Gotham Awards. Almereyda directed an episode of the HBO series Deadwood and received a Guggenheim Fellowship for Film in 2005. His essays and commentary have appeared in The New York Times, Film Comment, The Believer, Artforum, Bookforum, and DVD booklets for the Criterion Collection. The writing of Experimenter was supported by two commissioning grants from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in conjunction with the Sundance Film Institute and the Tribeca Film Institute.

Uri Singer

Producer

A successful businessman for over 20 years, he has produced 8 films in the past four years, including Bed and Breakfast (with Dean Cain and Juliana Paes), Open Road (Andy Garcia, Juliette Lewis and Camila Belle), The Brazilian (Mariel Hemingway, Dean Cain). Uri had also produced the award winning films Predilection and I Love Candy. He is recently overseeing the development of a series of features including Arigo (Alan Arkin), El Camino (written and directed by Ted Melfi) and Exile (directed by Tom Provost). Singer recently completed three movies: Like Sunday, Like Rain (Written and directed by Frank Whaley) with Leighton Meester, Debra Messing and Billie Joe Armstrong, Experimenter (written and directed by Michael Almereyda) with Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder and Breaking Through (written and directed by John Swetnam). Singer is currently producing Dark Number, a TV Series for Crackle. Singer is a member of the PGA.

Fabio Golombek

Producer

Fabio Golombek oversees all FJP Productions in the United States since 2002. Fabio, as the president of FJ Productions, coordinates a number of programs such as The Hollywood News Report TV (HBO and syndication), Hollywood News in 3D (Sky and Orange), As Ultimas de Hollywood (SONY Entertainment), Hollywood Buzz (TNT) and 2 seasons of Hollywood Uncut. Since 2010, he has produced Bed and Breakfast, a feature film starring Dean Cain and Juliana Paes which was distributed worldwide, Man Camp (Mariel Hemingway, Dean Cain & F.Machado) and co-produced Open Road. He recently finished producing Like Sunday, Like Rain (Written and directed by Frank Whaley) and Breaking Through (Written and directed by John Swetnam). Currently he is development of several projects including, El Camino and Arigo. He is also the executive producer of the award winning show Planeta Brasil (TV Globo International), and producer of shows such as Shape Up (Fox), Shop the World, Martial Arts 360 and Zen Zone. Fabio is a member of the Producers Guild of America PGA, IDA and NALIP.

Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins

Producers

Intrinsic Value Films, founded by Isen Robbins and Aimee Schoof in 1998, has produced more than 30 feature films. Of those, seven have premiered at the Sundance film festival, four at the Tribeca Film Festival, three at SXSW, and one each at Toronto, Venice, New Directors/New Films, and Berlin.

Intrinsic’s films have been distributed throughout the world and have been honored with many awards and nominations, including a Sundance Special Grand Jury prize, four Gotham nominations, and five Independent Spirit nods. Included in these are two Indie Spirit nominations as a producers, one in 2014. Intrinsic continues to actively finance and sell films.

Past films include Blue Caprice, XX/XY, The Skeptic, The Hebrew Hammer, Brother to Brother, The Sticky Fingers of Time, and The Alphabet Killer. Intrinsic has several films in pre production and recently wrapped principle photography on The Truth About Lies. Isen and Aimee are also partners in the publicly traded, comic book publishing company, Red Giant Entertainment.

Danny A. Abeckaser

Producer

Danny A. Abeckaser, a native of Brooklyn, found success in the New York nightlife scene before pursuing a career in his true passion, film. Danny has an extensive acting resume and under the banner of his 2B Productions has also produced three feature films, Holy Rollers, Experimenter and Club Life, which he co-wrote. Danny made his mark as an actor with his acclaimed performances in Ariel Vromen’s The Iceman, playing 'Dino Lapron' opposite Michael Shannon, in Holy Rollers co-starring as ‘Jackie Solomon’ with Jesse Eisenberg and in Club Life co-starring as 'Mark Cohen' with Jerry Ferrara. You can see him next in Martin Scorsese’s Untitled HBO Rock N’ Roll pilot. Danny's latest producing effort is the upcoming feature Killer Set in which he stars opposite Michael Rappaport, Bob Sagget, Ethan Supply and Jay Ferguson.

Per Melita

Producer

Per is an award winning Producer who has worked on over 30 feature films. Most notable amongst his credits are the 2002 Tribeca Film Festival Best Narrative Feature Prize winner, Venice Film Festival Don Qixote Award winner, New York Film Critics Circle Award winner and 2003 triple Independent Spirit Awards nominee "Roger Dodger", (Jesse Eisenberg, Campbell Scott, Isabella Rossellini); The 2005 Independent Spirit Awards nominee "The War Within", (Ayad Akhtar, Sarita Choudhury); The 2007 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winner and 2009 double Independent Spirit Awards nominee "Padre Nuestro" aka "Sangre de mi Sangre"; The 2010 Dauville American Film Festival Revelation Prize and Gotham Awards Breakthrough Director Award winner "Holy Rollers" (Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Bartha); and The 2011 Boston International Film Festival Best Screenplay, Best Ensemble Cast, and Best Editing Awards winner "Certainty" (Adelaide Clemens, Giancarlo Esposito, Bobby Myonahan).

Per’s most recent producing efforts are Stephen King’s "A Good Marriage" (Joan Allen, Anthony Lapaglia); "Club Life" (Jerry Ferrara, Jessica Zsohr); and Experimenter (Peter Sarsgaard, Winona Ryder) written and directed by Michael Almereyda. Per is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Directors Guild of America, the IFP, and the Independent Producers Alliance.

Joseph White

Co-Producer

Joseph is a unique filmmaker who has excelled in the many facets of the art and business of filmmaking. He began his career as a director’s assistant on Town Diary and spent the next several years working as an apprentice for Francis Ford Coppola, where he honed his skills as a creative producer, director, and cameraman. Joseph has worked on hundreds of commercials, promos, and web content for companies such as Apple, Samsung, Honda, Porsche, Mercedes, and Nike. His film credits include: Self Less, Don Jon, The Perfect Age of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Miracle at St. Anna, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Inside Man, She Hate Me, The 25th Hour, and many more. Joseph is currently working on a concert/documentary film about birth of rock ‘n roll out of the blues.
